LumaBooth for iPad, iPhone, Mac
v5.0.7 April 13, 2026

This update improves AI Portrait quality guidance, resolves several crash issues, and fixes email sharing for international domains.

AI Portraits

  • Added on-screen warnings when too many people are in the frame or subjects are too far from the camera, helping users get better AI Portrait results
  • Improved AI Portrait browse screen layout when rotating the device

Email Sharing

  • Resolved an issue where email addresses with international domains (such as .com.mx or .co.uk) were incorrectly rejected as invalid
  • Improved email reply-to field handling so trailing spaces no longer cause send failures

Camera

  • Resolved a crash that could occur when switching cameras with previously saved zoom settings

Stability

  • Fixed a crash in the upload retry service that could occur under heavy sharing load
  • Improved upload queue management

Virtual Attendant

  • Resolved an issue where adding custom media to default Virtual Attendant styles did not update the interface

User Interface

  • Fixed a stretched toggle button on the Event Link screen on iPhone

Internal

  • Improved modal presentation code for better maintainability and clearer lifecycle behavior
LumaBooth for Windows (dslrBooth)
v8.1.12 April 4, 2026

What's New in v8.1.12

Photo Capture

  • Fixed countdown not starting when thumbnails are positioned on the left or right — Photo sessions now begin correctly regardless of thumbnail placement. Previously, setting thumbnails to the left or right side caused the capture screen layout to shake and prevented the countdown from starting.

Green Screen

  • Fixed green screen backgrounds and overlays failing to load after switching events — Background and overlay asset paths are now resolved at the correct time, so switching events from the navbar no longer causes green screen assets to point to the wrong event folder.

Stability

  • Fixed crash when launching an event immediately after upgrading from an older version — Users upgrading from earlier dslrBooth versions that didn't persist an event selection could encounter a crash when clicking the Launch Event button. The app now guards against this condition gracefully.
