This release introduces a fully redesigned Green Screen experience along with a series of stability improvements, sharing fixes, and visual polish across the app.
Green Screen
- Added a complete Green Screen feature, allowing guests to have their photos taken in front of any background image you choose
- Improved the Green Screen live view so the subject no longer appears doubled or mirrored during preview
- Added the ability to preview, select, and delete background images directly from Green Screen Settings
- Resolved an issue where the overlay image would appear stretched when uploaded in Green Screen Settings
- Added a placeholder background image when no background has been set yet, so new users can see the effect working right away
- Adjusted Sensitivity and Smoothness controls to use a more practical maximum range for easier fine-tuning
- Renamed the background selection option from "Allow manual selection" to "User's Choice" for clarity, and moved it to the start screen where guests can choose their own background
Stability & Performance
- Resolved a black screen issue that could occur when starting a session with Green Screen set to cycle through backgrounds automatically
- Fixed a crash that could occur when saving photos to the camera roll while Green Screen was active
- Resolved freezing that could occur on iPad Pro during countdowns and the sharing screen
- Fixed an issue where the app would freeze after approximately 15 minutes when connected to a local Wi-Fi network without internet access
Sharing & Email
- Fixed an issue where photos could not be sent via email through SendGrid
- Resolved an error that prevented GIFs from being shared to Twitter
- Fixed an issue where SMS analytics were incorrectly recording the user's email address instead of their user ID
Visual Quality
- Sharpened blurry icons throughout the app, including the main view, camera setup, and print layout screens
- Renamed "GIF Boomerang" to "GIF Reverse" to more accurately describe the effect
