This release brings expanded printing connectivity via Bonjour, improvements to GIF and video workflows, and a range of fixes that make the booth experience more reliable for guests and operators alike.
Printing & Connectivity
- Added support for connecting to LumaBooth Assistant using Bonjour, enabling reliable printing over a direct USB connection without requiring a shared Wi-Fi network
- Improved Bonjour connection reliability by connecting via hostname instead of IP address, so printing continues working even if network addresses change
- LumaBooth now remembers the last Bonjour service used, so printing resumes automatically after the app is restarted
GIF & Video
- Added an option to choose how many photos are included in a GIF-only session, independent of the template photo count
- Fixed an issue where vertical overlays appeared opaque in GIFs instead of showing the correct transparent effect
- Resolved an issue where recorded videos were not always being saved to the iPad's camera roll or uploaded to fotoShare
- Videos shared through fotoShare are now stored in the correct folder, improving compatibility with the fotoShare iOS app
Capture Screen
- Added the ability to customize the text color on the capture screen
- Added a rotation angle option for text elements in the print layout
Guest Experience
- Photos are now removed from the iPad camera roll if a guest declines the disclaimer, ensuring no unconsented images are retained
Sharing & Email
- Fixed an issue where email addresses ending in
.realtor or .realestate were incorrectly flagged as invalid
Stability
- Resolved a crash that could occur during animated GIF/video export
- Resolved a crash in the media converter when processing animated images
- Verified compatibility with iOS 12
