v2.5 is a landmark update for LumaBooth, introducing full multi-event management with real-time sync across devices, a major redesign of the app's navigation and settings screens, and a sweeping round of stability, print layout, and capture improvements.

Event Management

• Added support for running multiple events — create and configure events in advance, then select the right one when the day arrives
• Events now sync settings and assets in real time across all iPads signed in to the same account
• Added the ability to rename and delete events directly from within the app
• Fixed an issue where turning a setting on or off in one event would incorrectly change that setting across all events
• Fixed an issue where survey settings were not preserved correctly when switching between events
• Fixed an issue where copying event settings did not work when the device was offline
• Fixed an issue where the app showed the wrong event name after reinstalling
• The app now opens to the event selection screen on launch instead of automatically entering the most recently used event
• Added a "Settings saved" confirmation that appears when exiting settings, and a pending upload indicator when assets are still syncing to the cloud

Print Layout

• Added new preset print templates: 2×6 strip (4 photos), 5×7 (1 large + 3 small), and 6×6
• Added X and Y coordinate fields so elements can be positioned precisely by entering exact values
• Fixed an issue where items added to a print layout were erased after navigating away and returning
• Fixed an issue where duplicated text elements could not be selected when an image was layered on top
• Fixed an issue where changing a text element's color reset the text content to the placeholder value
• Fixed an issue where layer ordering (Bring Forward / Send Backward) did not work correctly for all element types
• Fixed an issue where images added from the photo library were resized based on the booth photo dimensions rather than their original size
• Fixed an issue where adding an image from the photo library and then rotating the iPad caused the image to disappear
• Fixed an issue where deleting a duplicate image layer also deleted the original
• Fixed an issue where screenshots could not be imported into the print layout
• Fixed an issue where the color picker was cut off in landscape orientation
• Fixed an issue where preset templates displayed placeholder text in the center of the layout
• Fixed an issue where the color picker did not offer white as a selectable color
• Importing a template file now automatically navigates to the print layout screen

Capture & Camera

• Increased GIF and Boomerang resolution from 640×480 to 960×720 for noticeably sharper results
• Fixed an issue where vertical GIFs and Boomerangs were exported at the wrong dimensions
• Fixed an issue where GIF overlays did not apply when running a GIF-only session
• Fixed an issue where switching cameras turned off other camera settings
• Fixed an issue where the selected camera (front or rear) was not remembered after restarting the app
• Fixed an issue where sessions in the Browse Photos screen appeared out of order when mixing different capture types
• Fixed an issue where a second, cropped copy of each photo was being saved to the camera roll alongside the original

Welcome Screen

• Fixed an issue where the welcome screen background image appeared stretched on a second iPad after syncing
• Fixed an issue where the welcome screen appeared small and shifted to the side on a device receiving a synced event
• Fixed an issue where the welcome screen's text font, size, and color did not sync to a second iPad
• Fixed an issue where the start screen background did not extend to fill the full screen on the latest 12.9" iPad
• Fixed an issue where a previous event's background image thumbnail appeared incorrectly when creating a new event
• Improved the font selection panel on the welcome screen so it no longer covers the entire display

Sharing

• Fixed an issue where the sharing status screen only showed pending emails for the current event — all pending shares across all events are now visible
• Fixed an issue where print jobs appeared as pending email shares
• Fixed an issue where video sessions could not be shared to Twitter
• Fixed an issue where media files could be incorrectly purged, causing pending shares to be cancelled
• Media files (photos, GIFs, videos, prints) are now protected from automatic removal when the iPad runs low on storage
• Added customizable header text for email and SMS share prompts so you can personalize the message guests see when they choose to share
• Added the ability to cancel individual pending shares from the sharing detail screen

Printing

• Fixed an issue where the AirkonV printer had to be re-selected on every print — the last used printer is now remembered
• Fixed an issue where the print preview did not fill the screen on iPad Pro 11"

Virtual Attendant

• Fixed an issue where the app would freeze during a photo session when using custom virtual attendant videos
• Fixed an issue where virtual attendant settings remained accessible when the virtual attendant was turned off — settings are now grayed out when disabled, consistent with Survey and other features
• Virtual attendant preview videos now open in full screen instead of a small tooltip; tap anywhere on the video to stop and dismiss it

Account & Subscription

• Fixed an issue where the app incorrectly showed a subscription as expired after restarting, requiring a manual restore to correct
• Fixed an issue where users with an expired subscription could not complete a new purchase from the Account screen
• Fixed an issue where logging out could crash the app

Stability

• Fixed multiple crashes that occurred when navigating between settings screens, including a crash triggered when all survey questions had been deleted
• Fixed a crash that occurred when switching events after changing the capture mode
• Fixed a crash that occurred when the app attempted to migrate virtual attendant settings from an older version
• Fixed a crash that could occur when recording a video session
• Fixed an issue where the app would freeze while processing a video that included an overlay, pre-roll, and post-roll

User Interface

• Improved landscape (horizontal) orientation support across all settings screens
• Fixed multiple layout issues on iPad Pro 11", including misaligned bottom navigation bars and the saved events panel not extending to the bottom of the screen
• The event dropdown now responds correctly whether you tap the event name or the arrow button
• Added a Lock Booth option to the top navigation dropdown when on the welcome screen, and a Launch Event option when inside any settings screen
• Restored the countdown ring to the capture countdown display
• Theme color is now consistently applied to survey and disclaimer buttons, the share screen countdown ring, the print icon, and the lock icon
• White is no longer selectable as a theme color, as it caused buttons to become invisible against light backgrounds
• Fixed a white overlay that appeared beneath the settings dropdown menu
• Fixed an issue where the lock pin digit entry fields were misaligned with the typed characters
