This release brings significant improvements to printing, photo capture, GIF and boomerang creation, green screen workflows, and overall app stability — with special attention to compatibility with iOS 13.

Print & Sharing

• Improved multiple-copy printing with DNP WPS Pro by resending each copy as a unique job, ensuring all copies are printed correctly
• Resolved an issue where the DNP WPS Pro printer would not reconnect after the app was restarted or brought back to the foreground
• Fixed spacing in the DNP WPS Pro connection error message so text is no longer cramped
• The Wi-Fi network name on the print setup screen now refreshes automatically when the network changes

Photo Capture & Layout

• Added a Crop Preview option that clips the live view to match the proportions of your template's photo placeholders, so guests always know where to stand
• Resolved an issue where the selected print layout could revert to a previous template when navigating between screens without confirming the selection
• Improved the speed of opening the Print Layout screen, eliminating a noticeable delay when pressing the back arrow

GIF & Boomerang

• Added support for square GIFs and Boomerangs
• Resolved an issue where rectangle boomerangs would get stuck processing indefinitely
• Fixed a green screen issue where GIF overlays would not fit correctly when using large background images
• Resolved multiple crashes that could occur during boomerang sessions, improving overall stability

Template Import

• Importing a template now opens it directly in the Print Layout Editor and shows a clear success or error message, so you always know the import worked
• Fixed template importing on iOS 13 so that LumaBooth correctly recognizes and opens imported template files

Green Screen

• Moved the green screen background selection to appear after choosing a capture mode on the start screen, rather than alongside the capture options, for a cleaner workflow

Photo Sharing & LumaShare

• Increased thumbnail size to 400px for sharper previews in the LumaShare app across all media types (photos, prints, GIFs, boomerangs)
• Session photos and media are now grouped together in fotoshare.co albums by session, making it easier to find all items from the same photo booth session
• Resolved an issue where photos were not uploading to fotoshare.co in some cases
• Boomerang videos are now correctly identified as "boomerang" type in share responses

iOS 13 Compatibility

• Updated the app to support iOS 13, including fixes for dark mode display throughout settings screens
• Added the required location permission so Wi-Fi network names continue to display correctly under iOS 13's new privacy restrictions
• Fixed various UI alignment and display issues across settings screens for iOS 13

User Interface

• The toggle button in Email and SMS settings is now a proper circle and displays a crisp icon
• Improved the app review prompt so the primary action is correctly highlighted
• Resolved a crash that could occur when generating animated thumbnails

Event Management

• Events are now sorted with the most recent at the top of the list
