This release brings a redesigned iPhone navigation experience, new 1080p video support, smarter background cycling, a recording flash indicator, and a range of stability and usability improvements across the board.
iPhone Navigation
- Redesigned the main navigation menu on iPhones with a cleaner, more modern layout for both portrait and landscape orientations
- Resolved a layout issue where the header title was not properly centered on iPhones with a notch
Video & Boomerang
- Added support for 1920×1080 (Full HD) recording for video and boomerang sessions
- Added preset timeline buttons for 360 boomerang sessions, making it faster to configure the right clip duration and speed
- Fixed an issue where the camera could use an incorrect frame rate for certain iPad models and resolution combinations
- Resolved an issue where a video session would not finish processing if it followed a boomerang session
- Fixed an issue where vertical (portrait) overlays could not be selected even when the size was valid
AI Background Removal
- Fixed an issue where image overlays appeared partially transparent when AI background removal was enabled
- Fixed a layout issue with the Background Removal settings header
- Green screen and AI backgrounds now cycle through all uploaded backgrounds across consecutive sessions
Recording Flash
- Added a low-brightness blinking flash indicator during video, boomerang, and 360 recording sessions, making it easier for operators to know when a session is active
Event Management
- Fixed an issue where creating, copying, or deleting an event could result in an endless loading screen
- Fixed an issue where the Virtual Attendant start screen animation setting was shared across all events instead of being saved per event
- Added a share link button to the navigation bar, allowing booth owners to quickly copy and share their online album link with guests
Settings & Usability
- File type requirements are now displayed directly in the Effects settings, making it clearer what formats are accepted for filters and custom effects
- Corrected inconsistent overlay terminology throughout Capture Settings for GIF, video, and boomerang modes
- Motion detection session triggers are now paused while the settings menu is open, preventing accidental session starts
- Fixed a scrolling issue where the selected header item could scroll out of view
- Fixed the video recording timer being clipped by the notch on iPhone 12 mini
Audio & Sharing
- Fixed an issue where background audio was missing from 360 videos
- Improved reliability of sharing services when the device is offline
Stability
- Resolved a crash that could occur during video recording in certain conditions
- Resolved a crash related to unsupported camera frame rates on some devices
- Improved Firebase sync behavior to prevent unintended data synchronization during active photo sessions
