This release brings a significant set of improvements to LumaBooth, including a live camera preview on the start screen, smarter video export options, a redesigned settings experience on iPhone, and a range of stability and visual fixes across the app.

Start Screen & Guest Experience

• Added a live camera preview option on the start screen, letting guests see themselves before the session begins
• Resolved an issue where booth mode buttons would not appear on the start screen when no start screen animation was configured
• Fixed an issue where background removal thumbnails incorrectly displayed the overlay from the first background on all backgrounds

Video & Boomerang

• Final exported videos are now always encoded as H.264, ensuring broad compatibility with Windows, Android devices, and web browsers
• Added the ability to load a custom preview video for Boomerang and Video sessions, similar to how it works in dslrBooth
• Added an option to save original recorded videos and boomerangs to the photo roll for use in editing and marketing
• Added a Save Preview button so guests and operators can export the preview video directly to the photo roll
• Boomerang preview now fills the full screen on iPhone without altering the aspect ratio, providing a larger and clearer preview
• Fixed an issue where the flash continued blinking after canceling a Boomerang capture session
• Resolved a capture session error that could prevent audio from recording during Boomerang sessions
• Fixed an issue where video and boomerang email thumbnails did not display the image overlay

360 Video Timeline

• Timeline clip widths now accurately reflect the final duration after speed adjustments, giving a true visual representation of the processed video
• Added a real-time estimated duration and file size display so you can see the final output length before processing
• Added processed duration and file size information to the Boomerang capture settings

Sharing & SMS

• Fixed a crash that occurred when no response was received from the server while sending an SMS
• Enforced SMS usage quotas so that accounts using LumaBooth's built-in SMS stay within their monthly credit limit
• Fixed the AirDrop sharing flow so that unrelated sharing options no longer appear when AirDrop is selected
• Fixed a thin white border that appeared along the right and bottom edges of the sharing screen on iPad when viewing videos or boomerangs

Settings & Interface

• Redesigned the capture settings layout on iPhone for improved readability and consistency with the updated design
• Unified the background color across all settings screens for a consistent appearance
• Fixed an incorrect scroll position that caused the capture settings screen to jump to the bottom when navigating to it
• Fixed an issue where settings labels appeared in gray on iPhone instead of the intended black
• Fixed the motion trigger checkbox showing iPad-specific text on iPhone
• Camera and UI icons that became disabled after returning to the foreground from the background are now restored correctly

Fonts & Customization

• Custom fonts downloaded and installed on the device are now available for use in LumaBooth, including on the start screen and print layout

Virtual Attendant

• Fixed missing media items for the default virtual attendant style
