This release focuses on reliability and stability improvements — fixing a camera disconnect issue during event exports, preventing unexpected trial-mode watermarks from appearing mid-event, resolving upload and sharing rate issues, and improving the overall robustness of cloud diagnostics.
Camera Support
- Resolved an issue where exporting an event could cause the camera to disconnect, requiring a software restart to reconnect
Screen Editor
- Fixed an issue where text layers were not shown as selected after being placed for the first time or after being edited, making them difficult to move or adjust
Sharing & Uploads
- Resolved an issue where an unusually high number of uploads could queue up, causing delays; uploads are now properly rate-limited to keep sharing running smoothly
- Fixed an issue where a retaken photo could not be deleted because the previous file was still being uploaded in the background
Event Sync
- Resolved an issue where events would not download on secondary computers even after sync showed 100% complete
Session Reliability
- Fixed an issue where the software could unexpectedly switch to trial mode and apply a watermark during a live event
- Resolved a crash that occurred when exiting camera settings while Booth Co-Pilot was active
- dslrBooth now automatically pauses Windows Update when a session starts, preventing updates from interfering with your event
General
- Updated the End User License Agreement in the installer to always reference the latest version at dslrbooth.com/eula
- Improved cloud diagnostics reliability and log delivery accuracy
- Reduced unnecessary background logging to keep the application running efficiently
